Easter 2012

It has been forever since I have blogged.  Things have been very very busy around the house.  Mike is now working for EMSA so Ethan and I have a lot of time together.  But it also means we are very busy since it is just the two of us most the time. Ethan is growing so fast.  It amazes me how grown he is and how smart too.  He talks non stop and definitely has his own opinion.  We started the Easter festivities since Mike was home tonight.  This will be our first holiday without Mike so we are trying to do some of it on different days. 

Ethan was so excited to decorate the eggs.  He loved all the colors and we made it a little bit of a learning experience too.  Ethan would tell us what each color was before we could put an egg in it.  Ethan knows all his colors and currently Yellow is our favorite.  It changes every few weeks but, "ello" (Yellow) is the color of the month.

 

He was so proud of his eggs.  After we picked up each one from the cup he would say "ooohh pretty". 

 After our egg coloring, Ethan played with the dye for a short time.  He was mixing the colors with a doper.  He loved this too but our hands were getting a little blue and so we stopped.
