December Zoo Trip

We had a family trip to the Zoo Today.
Ethan loves animals and had so much fun there.  He walked the entire zoo.  Ethan and Nana explored the Lions.
It's so cute watching Ethan look at all the animals.  He often would make sounds thinking they were dogs or horses or such.

Ethan was a little scared of the snake because his dad scared him.  We tried to so him it was okay but he still felt the need to hide behind his Nana.
 Ethan and Bubba Brett.
Ethan and Dada watching the Tiger Cubs.  They were really playful and Ethan would smile and laugh at them.
We watched the monkeys for awhile.  Ethan decided he would hug the "Whowho" (monkey)
Ethan was excited and a little scared of them getting so close.  There was a baby Chimp that was so cute and kept holding onto her mama.
Last stop on the way out was the toys.
It was great having a family day.  Ethan loves having this special time with everyone.

Catch Up

So I have been terrible about blogging lately. It started by my computer dying, then not getting the new one set up, and then just life. This post is just a recap of the past few months. This is really going to show how long it has been. I will try to be better about keeping everyone up to date.
When the weather was still real nice we spent a ton of it outdoors. Ethan loves his water table and wanted to play with this everyday we came home. Of course we went to the State Fair when it was here. This year was a lot of fun because Ethan was excited about different parts. He loved watching the pigs race.
Ethan and his Nana.

We even played a few games. So much fun watching these experiences from his eyes.
We won prizes too!
The animals were his favorite. This boy loves all types of animals and even makes most of the sounds. It is so cute.
Family picture as we were leaving. Ethan was worn out.
For Thanksgiving we went to see all of our families. We started off at my Grandparents house for lunch. I did not take many pictures there. Ethan and his cousin Rhett watching Cars. They had a lot of fun together.
Papa, Nana, and Ethan.
Since we did not eat with the Parrish family we all went bowling that night. This was Ethan's first time to bowl. Ethan had such an amazing time. He played and was a perfect little guy this night.
Watching his bowling ball go down. Wishing very hard for a strike.
Of course we had to get snacks.
Ethan helping Aunt D (Mandy) bowl. Yes he calls her aunt D.
December 17, 2011. This weekend we went with some family downtown for some family fun. We had planned on snow tubing but it was sold out. Ethan loves walking around the ball park. Here is a picture of him with his cousins (Haleigh and Haidyn). Ethan loves his cousins so much. He just follows them around.

Hope everyone is having a great Christmas season. We are enjoying out time together as a family. We have been amazed how much Ethan has grown and matured this past month. Our little man is definitely not a baby any more. We are so blessed to have Ethan and are treasuring every day we have. Merry Christmas!

Ominplex Fun

Had to throw in a picture from yesterday. Ethan was ready to watch the game in his OU attire. This picture just shows how big he is getting. Boomer Sooner! A couple of weeks ago we went to the omniplex with a few of Ethan's friends from Gym Class. Ethan was so amazed with this place. He was running every where wanting to see everything.

Ethan enjoyed the gymnastic mats. He loves to flip and climb, just like in gym.

The planes were so interesting to him. Everyone he saw he would point and say plain.

Trying all the experiments.

Of course the Fishys were some of our favorites. This boy loves fish. He is showing Kadynce all the fishy.

Ethan loved the train table. This might end up on our wish list now. He played with this the longest.

Daddy and Ethan on the tractor.

More time at train table with Dada.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

August 2nd was Ethan's 2nd birthday. The week was filled full of birthday activities. On Monday Aug 1st Ethan had a party at school. I brought in a Cars cupcake cake for all the kids to eat. On Tuesday I took the day off to spend with my little man. We went to see Dr. Milligan for his 2 year check up. Ethan weighed 24.6 lbs and was 34 1/4 in tall. His weight went from the 6& to 24% so that was a big positive. Doctor reports he is doing great and no need for any changes. He did receive one immunization and had iron check. Afterwards we went and bought some balloons and came home to play. That afternoon Ethan went to his first movie. He saw Cars 2. There are no pictures because Ethan was not cooperating before the show. He wanted to walk everywhere and would not calm down. As soon as the previews came on he was just fine. He watched everything except the last 20 minutes because he fell asleep in my arms. That night we had a small family party for the grandparents and my brother. Of course it had to be Car themed. I made cupcakes and placed Cars on them.

Present table. Little man is just a tad spoiled. This is just from us, Nana & Papa, Mamaw & Papaw, and Bubba & Aunt KK.

Ethan loved looking at his cupcakes.

Now he wanted to pull off cars and sprinkles.

Opening presents. Bubba and Aunt KK gave him a Cars pinata filled with hotwheels and suckers. It was so cute plus a great entertainment. Ethan quickly gathered up his cars as they fell.

After the party Ethan wanted all of his toys opened so we call sat around and opened them so he could play. Ethan had to have his Aunt KK assist in putting his cars in "Mack". Bubba better watch out because Ethan is trying to steal her :)

Ethan decided his water table should hold all his new Cars.

Ethan eating his cupcake. Such a cute little boy!

Trying out the new ramp mommy and daddy bought him.

On Saturday, August 6th Ethan had his Big Party with all the family. It was at the Earlywine YMCA. It was a pool/beach theme.

Everyone singing Happy Birthday. He liked everyone singing to him.

He blew out the candle just like a big boy.

Opening presents. I was amazed because he opened every present. He was so excited for each present and wanted to keep stopping to play.

Looking at his new toys.

Playing with his cousins. Pool time. We played in the splash area and swam in the pool. All the kids seem to have so much fun.

The party was so much fun. It is so hard to believe my little man is already 2. He has grown so quickly. I am so blessed to be his mom. I love every single moment I have with him. Thank you everyone who helped make his birthday so special. We love you all.

Happy Birthday Ethan!
