Christmas with Goforth's

We celebrated part of the Goforth Christmas on Christmas Eve. Ethan's second cousin Kennedi had to go back to Texas for Santa so we celebrated with her a little early. Ethan and KK are 1 year apart. They have very little opportunity to play together so it is a little sad. Here are the 2 of them getting to know one another. They quickly became friends. Here are the two of them.

Sharing their toys. It was so precious to watch them play. They both shared very well.
The festivities were during Ethan's nap time so he was getting tired. Here Kayla is "writing" on his face. He just laid there. It was so sweet.

Happy BIrthday Dada!

Daddy turned 28 this month. We had a family party at his parents house then celebrated with my family on his actual birthday. Here are a few pictures of Ethan at the party. It was a really nice day out so Ethan waned to spend it outside. Here is Ethan with his cousing Haidyn and Papaw.
Ethan wanted to sit in his chair to sing daddy happy birthday.

More time outside.

Ethan was not going to have his picture taken.

Me and Michael. (Ethan is below us). Happy Birthday Michael. We love you very much.

When we came home last night Ethan decided he needed a snack before bed. I just thought he looked to cute not to take a few pictures. He got his snack bowl and went to watch his cartoons. He refused to let me put his shirt on. (Yes he is wearing his Halloween pjs. They fit so good we still wear them)

Christmas Lights & Fun

This weekend we went to a Christmas Fest and to see Christmas lights. It was a lot of fun. I love this time of year for all of the family time and events we have.
Lights at Chesapeake.

We also went to see the lights in Yukon. It is a big park so Ethan sat in my lap and watched everything. He would oooh at the lights he liked. It was so adorable.

There was a church that puts on a Christmas fest. There is a bunch of scenes, Christmas activities and fun for kids. Here is Ethan looking at the Harley bikes.

Ethan was in awe with the train. He just kept watching it go around and around.

They had little sweet shops. Ethan and Papa stopped to get cotton candy.

Watching Cotton Candy being made.

The Cat & the Hat. Ethan liked the character's from a distance. When they came close he would cling to me.
Ethan was not sure of the Reindeer at all.

We hope everyone has a blessed and Merry Christmas. We love you all, Parrish Family

Ethan's cousins came over to watch the bedlam game. Ethan absolutely loves to play with his cousins. I snapped a few shots of them together. I thought this one was to precious. Ethan and his cousin Haidyn sitting together. Everyone watching the game.

Time to read a book.
Still reading.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Ethan has been eyeing the tree since it was set up. I decided I would let him help decorate the tree a little bit. Ethan likes to pat the tree. Ethan putting ornaments on the tree.
Ethan picking out his decoration.

Ethan was not able to put the ornaments on with out help but he was really trying.

The final product!
We went shopping on Saturday for a little while. Ethan of course wanted to make a stop at the play area in the mall. Here are a few pictures of him playing.

This tree was Ethan's favorite thing. He played on the tree for a majority of his time there.
